Although I hold multiple degrees, I’ve always had a passion for hair, and over the years the hair industry has been my calling… In 2018, I was a Regional Director, working for a neighborhood development corporation. One day I decided my career no longer worked for me, so I quit my job, and decided to live off of my savings until I figured it out. I made a wig out of scrap hair that I had, posted a picture wearing it on Facebook and instantly I had 7 orders! By order number two I was crying, because I was sewing by hand. I went out and bought a sewing machine, taught myself how to sew a whole wig unit, and then The Hair Excellence Boutique was born… Here we are over 3 years later, and I’ve reached a level of success that I hadn’t even fathomed, all through word of mouth, social media, hard work, and dedication!
